JOINT TYPE WATERPROOF
DESCRIPTION
Prototype joint used in all those cases where there is the need to protect the cracks that are created between the concrete plates from the entry of water or dirt.
Compact joint whose main insulation action is performed by the waterstop sheath that protrudes from both sides of the joint, this sheath immersed in the concrete prevents water from passing underneath through the cracks that inevitably form between the joint and the concrete.
COMPOSITION
The joint is composed of two 1.5mm thick bent sheets in S235 on which two paired rectangular tubes are fixed on which, in turn, the 5mm thick combs can be screwed, which can be of various materials.
The waterstop sheath is interposed between the support plates and the combs and a hydro-expansive seal is appropriately fixed under the sheath, which increases in volume in case there is water infiltration, until it finally stops.
USE
Used for the construction of floors where there is a need for total waterproofing.
Delicate joint with regard to the preparation and installation, certainly not immediate.
Joint designed for a small market niche and for very specific jobs.
