JOINT TYPE B ISO
DESCRIPTION
Type B joint that links the simplicity of the 3 mm thick support sheets with the unparalleled reliability of the round bars sheathed in the oval tube with the addition of an isolene sheet between the support plates which can generally range from 5 to 20mm.
The joint has a good weight / sturdiness ratio at least up to 210mm in height, above our standard it provides 4mm thick sheets.
COMPOSITION
The joint is composed of two suitably folded sheets 3 mm thick in S235, a sheet of isolene interposed between 5 and 20 mm thick that allows the compression of the joint.
The round sharing bars are in S275 steel and have a variable diameter of 15 or 20mm depending on the total height of the joint.
These bars are free to move horizontally inside the oval tube, while remaining constrained in the vertical direction.
USE
Used for the construction of classic floors where there are no particular heavy loads.
Unlike the normal B-type joint, thanks to the insulating sheet, the flooring is free to expand since the casting.
Recommended for the unparalleled functionality of the sheathed round bars, for the simplicity of installation and for its weight / strength ratio.
